Providing administrative oversight to clinical staff Providing training and technical oversight to all supportive staff involved with COPS PC/Specialty administration Managing and monitoring all COPS PC/Speciality clinics' schedules through direct contact with all supportive staff for COPS PC/Speciality clinics Performing organizational and manpower utilization studies to identify and develop improvements Collecting, compiling, and tracking statistical information in support of program operations of substantial technical complexity Managing, preparing, analyzing extracts and identifying apparent trends and issues related to COPS PC/Speciality clinics Participating in problem-solving assistance to identify potential quality improvement areas Identifying objectives based on understanding of program and overall priorities and establishing protocols based on results of data Generating mandated and required reports based on accurate data collection Designing studies, training programs and organizational strategies for identifying opportunities to improve customer service and quality improvement plans Conducting extensive research of data from diverse sources Working directly with PC/Speciality supervisor(s) in the development of new programs and initiating programs from the national level Providing insight and knowledge in regards to new clinic development and clinic restructuring/design Establishing quality and productivity programs Conducting surveys and reviews to ensure that optimal patient care is being provided and that Medical Center resources are being appropriately and fully utilized Conducting studies to resolve administrative problems which arise in the course of normal operations and presenting conclusions and recommendations to supervisor before presenting necessary changes to staff Providing the customer with consistent information according to established policies and procedures Work Schedule:

Time-In-Grade Requirement:
Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Contacting others orally and in writing to obtain information; Using computer systems or applications to access, create, edit, print, send, retrieve, or manipulate data, files, or other information; Collecting, compiling, and organizing information and/or data; Initiating and maintaining contacts with individuals outside the organization; Reviewing and analyzing forms, applications, documents, or other information to make determinations (for example, eligibility); Processing or analyzing data using computer systems or applications; Conducting oral presentations to organizations, and determining various Veterans' eligibility entitlements. Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related to the work of the position. Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education to qualify at the GS-11 level. This can be determined by adding total qualifying experience as a percentage of the required experience and education as a percentage of the total required. The total percentage must equal 100 percent. Only education more than the first 18 semester hours (i.e. beyond the first-year graduate level education) is creditable towards meeting the specialized experience requirement. The work of this position is sedentary but also requires walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, bending, reaching, and carrying of light to moderate mobile unit supplies. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
