SAP Business Objects Developer
Position Scope:
Looking for a motivated team member to join the initial implementation of SAP BW on HANA in a division of a large multinational corporation. The person will work in a dynamic environment to set the stage for future BW solutions in a HANA environment.
This position is responsible for providing the design, configuration, testing, documentation and deployment of analytics and reports. The role will often work directly with the business to understand requirements and then deliver to those requirements. In addition to direct business contact, the role will work with other IT teams to understand source data, collaborate on larger initiatives.
Business Intelligence Analytics and Reports: Work directly with the business functions to understand their reporting needs then deliver dashboards and reports that meet those needs. Familiar with CMC console, manage report/user security and work with BW back end to develop report promotion process
Data Warehousing: Understand data warehousing concepts and process flow and able to define, develop and optimize BexQuery to assist reporting development
Administration, Communication and Documentation: Establish responsible deadlines and manage time effectively; accurately prepare written or Oral business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional; establish effective working relationship with business users; seek input from mentors and supervisors.
Business Process Analysis and Improvements: Assist with business requirements gathering sessions and prepare assigned deliverables resulting in detailed and fully documented business requirements definitions. Implement system solutions that result in business process improvements that increase business efficiencies and effectiveness. Job Requirements Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related information technology field.
Over 5 years' experience on SAP Business Analytics & Reporting
Extensive experience with SAP business Objects Product Suite, specifically in SAP Design Studio 1.5 and above, SAP Lumira & SAP HANA.
Working knowledge of SAP BO admin and reporting security
Extensive hands on development experience in implementing multiple full life cycle end to end SAP business Intelligence projects
Preferred
Qualifications:
Must be able to speak English and German
Export in translate business requirements to report data visualization design
Used Information Design Tool in SAP business Objects 4.x to create connections to multiple data sources and created Multisource Universes on SAP BW
Experienced at identifying universe technical issues like loops, Chasm and fan traps and resolving them by creating aliases and contexts.
Improved the report performance by tuning the report query and the Universe design using Aggregate awareness, Universe Parameters, etc.
Used functionalities like Multiple Data sources, Merged Dimensions, Combined Queries and OpenDocument report linking while developing complex WebI reports
Business Objects Security Design and Implementation. Worked on integration of SAP BW Security with Business Objects security.
Extensively worked on implementation of SAP business Objects Universes for different relational and OLAP data sources
Installed SAP Design Studio and configured to access SAP BW, SAP HANA and SAP BO
Created applications utilizing Container components during design; interactive visualization with scripts; and data loads based on events.
Expertise creating Design Studio applications for browser, iPad and iPhone with corporate templates using custom CSS scripts; SAP BIAL scripting; Variable
