HR Gray - Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Maintain continuous review of project for timeliness and budgetary requirements
2. Manage project from ground-up to completion
3. Liaison with design professional, engineers, Owners and contractors
4. Cost estimating
5. Scheduling
6. Documentation, quality control, safety
7. Job inspection
8. Supervision of field personnel
9. Manage subordinate Project Managers and support staff Provide support, direction and training for all team members.
10. Identify new work opportunities
11. Familiar with and applies policies and procedures as it relates to the position
12. Proactively identifies and solves problems to minimize risk
13. Oversees completion of project close-out
14. Represent company in project meetings
15. Monitors all costs to ensure project is on schedule and built within budget
16. Coordinate necessary permits required for commencement of construction
17. Review design documents for conflicts and completeness
18. Perform constructability reviews of design documents
19. Meet milestones in accordance with development schedule
20. Participate in development of construction documents
21. Participate in negotiating contract agreements
22. Perform various administrative duties during project start-up
23. Manage and administer construction phases of project
24. Develop and maintain professional working relationship with DP, contractors and other authorities
25. Prepare schedule, and facilitate monthly costs and project status reports
26. Close-out activities Manage completion of all work in accordance with contract documents, codes standards, plans and specifications
Education/
Experience: Preferred Bachelor's degree in accredited construction related curriculum with over 7 years of experience in project management and supervision. PE licensed preferred, LEED, CCM accreditation,
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.:
1. Experience in estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship, computer skills, interpersonal skills
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Strong organizational and leadership skills
4. Demonstrated success in managing construction projects/phases
5. Ability to train others and monitor their work for quality and completeness
6. Demonstrated success in managing support staff
7. Knowledge of industry standard bid practice
8. Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service and Trust
Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
