Customer Service Representative

A. Schulman, a leading international supplier of high performance plastic compounds and resins, is seeking candidates for the position of Customer Service Representative at our Corporate headquarters in Fairlawn, OH.
In this position, you will collaborate with Account Managers to build and maintain positive customer relationship, process orders, following contract review, entering with accuracy and confirming back to customers timely, and interact with ASI departments to answer questions, resolve issues, assist associates, and service the customer.
Duties include: Support local, regional and global needs of customers and assist in completing projects, meeting deadlines. Communicate with internal/external customers via telephone, email or fax. Conduct monthly material requirement calls, collaborate to create sales forecast. Be versed on strategic goals of Business Units to assist customers, sales associates, and management. Maintain filing and archiving systems. Assist in selling products to meet/exceed sales margin levels developed for fiscal year. Resolve complaints, managing standard and non-standard requests. Provide material information sheets. Monitor Outstanding Orders Report, provide advance notice should delay occur. Participate in Scheduling/BU meetings. Monitor/enter sample requests. Generate price quotes, send to customers. Generate/maintain Transfer/ Billing Purposes Only orders. Obtain approvals and generate return authorization, credit memo or misc. invoice requests. Adjust sales order release quantities. Travel to visit strategic customers. Generate Canadian Custom Invoices. Process/monitor multi-release orders. Monitor customer website portals to retrieve forecasts, sales orders. Collaborate to escalate production to meet customer requirements. Coordinate on release of credit hold orders, new account set-up & account re-activation. Collaborate on new account set-ups and changes to existing customer accounts. Generate/send Pro-forma Invoices to CIA customers, monitor accounts for receipt of funds. Collaborate to arrange transportation on last minute orders, expedites, customer returns.
Requirements include:
o Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; in lieu of degree, minimum of 3 years of customer service experience with a H.S. diploma/GED.
o Knowledge of business and communication principles involved in customer relationship management. Previous customer relations or sales experience in the plastics industry a plus.
o Experience in supply chain operations a plus.
o Knowledge/experience with ERP systems and CRM tools (ISIS) preferred.
o Strong data reporting skills.
o Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
o Ability to multi-task.
o Attention to detail.
o Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
