Manufacturing Scheduler

Shin-Etsu Silicones is hiring for a Manufacturing Scheduler.
Responsibilities include:
o Evaluate new orders.
o Build shop orders as new orders come in (reactor, DMX, mixers, F.mil and extruder).
o Review in process and raw material requirements. Note any deficiencies on schedule log
o Update schedule log to reflect due date and shipment amount
o Communicate with Supervisors and provide them with the schedule log for manufacturing and ship dates.
o Update Oracle with manufacturing and shipment dates.
o Make weekly schedules from the excel production plan program.
o Communicate with other schedulers.
o Handle freight transfers to Terminal warehouse/LMD. Freight BOL reconciliation and shipping rate quotes.
o Print batch cards for dispersion mixer, banbury mixer and finishing mill
o Print labels for mix schedules and put with batch cards in packet for manufacturing.
o Print extruder batch cards and labels.
o Print batch cards for DMX and reactor cards.
o Update Oracle with daily production.
o Enters new orders daily into production plan in excel.
o Performs other duties, from time to time, as requested by manager.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:
Education &
Experience: Industrial Engineering or Business Management degree strongly preferred and/or 3-5 years' experience with Scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
Technical: Ability to read and interpret written instructions. Experience with Excel, MS Word, and Oracle.
Communications: Good verbal and written skills; good interpersonal skills to operate effectively within a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
