INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
Position performs work in connection with the mechanical and electrical maintenance, construction, repair and operation of sludge pumping and treatment facility, and the maintenance and operation of biogas driven electrical generation systems. Individual must have good mechanical aptitude and basic familiarity with basic diesel and gasoline engines, electronics and the ability to use or become familiar with testing equipment.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain facility operations inspect, repair, removal, install, operate & construct complex pumps, motors, compressors, chemical handling systems and related components Remove, replace, repair hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanically operated valves Remove and install electronic and mechanical flow measuring devices Cuts, threads and fits piping systems Use of computers and related equipment to enter and extract information Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Job Requirements:
Candidate must have certificate of completion from a 2-year mechanical or electrical technology program or a certification of completion from a mechanical or electrical technology training program minimum 2 years' experience will consider minimum 5 years' work experience in lieu of educational requirement work in a collaborative and team environment available to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
