Supply Chain Manager
SFS intec, Inc.-automotive division, located in Medina, Ohio USA has newly created opportunity for someone who wants to get into the driver's seat to simplify and improve the facility's supply chain and internal logistics. The newly created positon will be actively participating in planning meetings and business management meetings utilizing critical thinking skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Implement methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Analyze data, including planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant and product lines optimal supply chain execution.
Evaluate and monitor raw material to specific re-order quantities.
Determines business impact from the operations metrics and make recommendations as part of the site's leadership team.
Responsible for improving the production process in terms of delivery performance with internal production and outside process vendors.
Champions efforts to reduce production costs year over year, leveraging sourcing efforts.
Support compliance initiatives, logistics, and inventory strategies to achieve synergy across the operation.

The ideal candidate will have:
Three years inventory analysis, supply chain and internal logistics experience
Three years of experience in the metal industry with automotive customers
A data-driven approach to problem solving
MS office, advanced Excel , SAP and ERP systems
Demonstrated knowledge of supplier management, including evaluation, price, negotiation
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and variation reduction methodology
Green Belt & APICS certification desired
Enhance direct procurement steps and operating resources with respect to challenges to ensure customer needs and automotive standards are satisfied.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
