Accounts Receivable Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated, talented and experienced working Accounts Receivable Administrator. If you have the capability to perform at high levels in a fast paced work environment and demonstrate good common sense with sound judgment you have found the right position!
The Accounts Receivable Administrator will be working in our office located in Medina, Ohio.

JOB
Responsibilities:
o Utilizes computerized accounting software programs to perform duties and responsibilities
o Generates accounting statements and reports from Company's software
o Develops automated spreadsheets
o Operates office equipment including personal computer, copiers, fax machines and 10-key calculator
o Maintains telephone and personal contact with, staff and vendors on receivable matters as directed by Manager
o Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
o Prepares invoices to be emailed or uploaded (web-based)
o Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
o Transfers pertinent information to invoices; such as, Lien Waivers, emails correspondence, and etc.
o Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
o 4-6 years of hands-on Accounting experience or related field
o Basic computer skills and word processing
o Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
o Some experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems
o Good mathematical background- the ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers
o Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
o Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
o Ability to work independently, self-started, and energetic
o Ability to anticipate work needs
o Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings
o Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college level accounting classes or Accounting Degree preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
