Seeking a Sr. Extrusion Engineer SCSEE
Our Client Company is a leading manufacturer and innovator of equipment to service the needs of the tire industry. They are currently seeking a Sr. Extrusion Engineer in Akron, Ohio. The salary is $80K-$85K, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
The Sr. Extrusion Engineer champions the design and implementation of robust extrusion processes, in addition to providing technical support in the development and improvement of rubber extrusion machine manufacturing. He or she assesses and mitigates manufacturing deficiencies in the extrusion area, and commands full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Advanced degree
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with rubber extrusion
Mechanical and electrical machine design background, plus knowledge of machining and manufacturing techniques of industrial equipment
Established technical skills with FEA analysis, thermodynamics, rheology, and simulation
Technical authority and leadership abilities, along with strong communication skills
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as necessary
