Job Expectation:
The SST supports the American Medical Response Vision and Guiding Principles by exhibiting the following behaviors with staff, communities, customers, patients: excellence and competence, collaboration and communication, responsiveness, accountability and ownership.

Summary:
The Support Service Technician will serve as the responsible person for rehabilitating vehicles returning them to the highest standard of readiness for service. This includes decontaminating, re-supplying, cleaning, and performing minor maintenance procedures on equipment and vehicles. Detailed and accurate reporting is necessary to provide information to the front line customers: the field employees. All duties performed will be in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local regulations and current established policies and procedures and will vary from time to time as regulations and technology changes. Environmental conditions apply. To be qualified for the position of Support Service Technician a person will have the ability to work in the type of environment with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a threat to self or others.

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
