Position Description:
Provides to individuals and groups, nursing care requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill derived from the principles of biological physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences. Assesses, Plans, Implements, Evaluates and Directs nursing care for individual/group of patients, with a family centered care focus.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio. BSN required or must obtain BSN within 5 years from date of hire. Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required. PEARS is required for all RNs assigned to general care units. PALS, ACLS, TNCC and/or NRP is required for critical care areas, ED, Surgical Services, Sedation Services, Transitional Care/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Transport within one year of hire.
Requires occasional floating to Children''s NICU at Summa
Will orient to Transport when requirements are met.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
