Machine Designer, SolidWorks Job #3811, Akron, Ohio Hoping to develop a new generation of equipment that will improve existing processes and grow market share, a well-established manufacturer in Akron is seeking to add a Machine Designer to their team. The initial focus of this role will be machine design from concept to start-up to include generation of 3D drawings using SolidWorks, component sourcing/selection, and in-shop troubleshooting/de-bug. Long term duties will include process improvement, cost reduction, and technical support. Experience with automated manufacturing machinery/processes is a must. Pipe bending equipment design experience will be considered a significant plus.
