We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team.
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment to our employees.
This is a critical role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in payroll procedures and regulations.
Duties:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes - Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll on a regular basis - Review and analyze payroll reports to identify discrepancies or errors - Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and submit payroll tax filings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations - Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Generate various payroll reports for management review - Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws - Assist with benefits administration as needed Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing or related role - Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, regulations, and best practices - Proficiency in using payroll software such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar systems - Experience with HRIS systems for employee data management - Excellent analytical skills to analyze complex payroll data and identify errors or discrepancies - Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to perform journal entries related to payroll transactions - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Proficient in using accounting software for reconciliation purposes - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits administration.
