Summary:
The ER Solutions Center Specialist handles inbound/outbound employee relations inquiries from managers and Team Members with the goal of resolving workplace conflict, minimizing employment risks, and increasing effective performance and compliance management in a timely manner.
Investigates low to moderate risk level Team Member complaints, analyzes findings, recommends appropriate conclusive action, and conducts follow up work on remedial and preventative measures.
Provides coaching and consultation to managers on ER issues including conflict resolution, working conditions, performance management, and policy compliance/interpretation.
Provide multi-faceted administrative support to Employee Relations Team.
Major Responsibilities/
Essential Functions:
Handle high volume workplace investigations from Team Members and managers at an established service level.
Responsible for working independently to resolve employment issues, investigate/resolve low to moderate risk level ER complaints, partner with management on policy compliance and interpretation, and collaborate with management to resolve workplace conflict.
Ensure service levels provided support the Company Mission Statement and Customer First Philosophy.
Maintains confidentiality regarding Team Member information, issue/investigation files and data, department initiatives, and compliance issues as directed.
Ensure all Team Member confidential or sensitive information is protected and secured at all times.
Provide prompt courteous service to all incoming callers.
Ensure all ER issue and investigation data is thoroughly, accurately, and professionally entered into the case management system.
Conduct research on employment issues and related HR matters.
Develop and submit accurate and professional summary reports on research findings.
Conduct time record audits and investigations as assigned.
Research and assess rehire candidates for employment eligibility and make recommendations to HR management.
Create and submit a variety of ER reports as directed.
Provide daily administrative support to the Employee Relations Team as assigned.
Maintaining Quality/Accuracy in every Team Member interaction, which ensures uncompromising customer service that will sustain ER Team credibility and Team Member satisfaction with problem resolution.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.
Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
HR degree or certification a plus.

Experience:

years of HR experience with focus on employee relations or related business experience.
Retail sector or customer service experience a plus.
Technical/Other Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidential information.
Strong follow-up skills.
Attention to detail, negotiating and problem solving ability are essential.
Effective skills to communicate with all levels of Team Members and problem solve via telephone with ability to adapt to highly diverse caller communication levels and styles.
Developed organizational skills with ability to multi-task and work as part of a team in a time sensitive and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to independently and effectively problem solve a wide variety of employment issues.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills required.
Bi-lingual skills a plus.
