50 HourlyJob ShiftDayJob CategoryNonprofit - Social ServicesDescriptionSummary/ObjectiveThe person in the position of Van Driver will be responsible for safely operating a van-type vehicle.
The primary objective of the Driver is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation.
This position is twofold.
You will be responsible for driving to Columbus or Cleveland, OH, once or twice weekly to pick up documents and deliver them to our Records Management facility in Akron, OH.
Also, the Driver will enforce and maintain all policies, procedures, maintenance, and security requirements.
Further, this position will promptly, professionally, and courteously meet internal and external customer needs.
Optional:
You may also provide non-medical transportation (NMT) for Weaver clients.
To do so, you must complete the DODD certification process.

Major Work DutiesEssential Job Functions Drive to Columbus or Cleveland, OH, once or twice a week.
Load and unload boxes from customers on/off vehicles.
Follow the rules and regulations, escorting passengers from vehicles to/from locations as needed.
Follow the rules and regulations, securely fastening wheelchairs and scooters when applicable.
Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous customer service to internal and external customers and other contacts.
Complete and submit a daily vehicle condition report and immediately notify management of needed repairs.
Maintain clean and orderly vehicle interior and provide for exterior cleaning as necessary.
Following all OSHA and Weaver safety standards Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required Must possess a valid driver's license Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs Regular attendance is an essential function of this position Must follow all OSHA safety regulations Must maintain a positive customer service attitude and image Must be willing to work as a team member Handle change in routines Display appropriate socialization at all times Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
