Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
Make necessary repairs and running adjustments to reduce downtime.
Equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance.
Fabricate parts when necessary using machines and/or hand tools.
Ensure all lockout/tag-out procedures related to equipment, machines and other forms of energy are followed Communicate potential equipment problems and dangers Perform routine maintenance/cleaning duties in the department on equipment and area.
Work in close association with Injection Molding and Finishing management staff.
Requirements:
High School Vocational Education or higher in machine repair.
An excellent working knowledge of plastic injection machinery and finishing equipment.
Must have own hand tools.
Must possess excellent figure aptitude and arithmetic skills, and an ability to work accurately with electrical machinery.
