The Senior Software Engineer/Implementation Specialist is responsible for the installation, configuration, documentation, and support of software packages supported by Diagnostics Software Services (DSS) according to specifications, and in a manner that meets or exceeds customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency expectations. It will require extensive team and customer interaction and the ability to act professionally and swiftly to customer concerns is imperative. Duties and Responsibilities Install, configure, validate, and support software applications responsible the team to meet the approved requirements and scope documentation and according to the Quality Management System. Create appropriate documentation for all work performed. Independently troubleshoots, resolves, and tests technical issues. Ability to conduct training sessions with team members and customers independently for software packages supported by DSS. Able to develop and execute system test plans and identify and correct failed cases. Able to create standard processes and provide comprehensive technical documentation. Ability to review code and configuration to troubleshoot, performance tune, and provide constructive feedback and technical training to team members. Has expert level knowledge in at least one application. Can assess risk when making changes and implement checks to eliminate adverse effects. Understands the interactions among the majority of Diagnostics software applications. Ability to identify product level needs and effectively communicate those needs to the appropriate business partners (R&D, Product management, etc.) Sought out for advice and guidance by team members which enhances the overall performance of the team. Identifies and follows-through with requirements for adoption of innovative ideas and solutions. Ability to lead other team members through changes to promote acceptance of our evolving environment. Analyzes work performed by colleagues and identify and discuss opportunities for improvement Proactively takes ownership for technical projects and/or initiatives across multiple applications, customers and teams within the organization Ability to make decisions and take action during ambiguous situations Ability to self-manage assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision while recognizing self-limitations and asking for guidance Understands a business requirement and drives conversations to determine if proposed solution is appropriate. When applicable, offers alternatives. Ensures the complete satisfaction of the customers. Role Description Working Conditions:

Qualifications:
Two-year technical degree. 4
Years in Support, Configuration or Software Experience with one of the following:
SQL Server, Oracle, Crystal Reports, or an Object-Oriented programming language. Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with commensurate experience. Five years minimum experience in software industry and/or healthcare industry. Experience with implementations utilizing Health Level-7 (HL7) standards. Experience delivering what's promised on time, proactively provide status reports, and have the up-side to independently manage tasks and projects from inception through completion with minimal supervisory guidance. Ability to work in a team environment with shared resources, goals, and responsibilities.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
