Job Designation The Sr. Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing technically sound and marketable products using imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions. Job Core Responsibilities CONTRACT POSITION LASTING APPROXIMATELY NINE MONTHS Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field o Demonstrates domain knowledge with high level understanding of design processes and procedures with ability to train others o Adds value by identifying and completing necessary tasks while interacting directly with customer or supplier o May lead or mentor junior and/or supporting staff o Applies knowledge and experience to develop/enhance designs, processes, and tools o Proactively engages with customers and suppliers while building strong working relationships o Focuses on completing assigned projects to meet technical objectives in budget and on schedule o Creates strong network with other senior professionals internally and externally o Works under general direction and within established processes/procedures o Has latitude in technical decisions and approaches; seeks out specialist guidance for complex issues Job Specifications Education:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other related field (Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Aerospace Engineering) Years'
Experience:
8
years of engineering experience; aerospace background a plus Skills:
o Working knowledge of hardware development in accordance with RTCA/DO-254 o Strong emotional intelligence and ability to motivate others o Focus on continuous improvement o Excellent communication skills to convey knowledge of subject matter, particularly in customer/supplier interaction o Ability to prepare and present clear, technically accurate and documented design explanation o Knowledge of Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, Simulink a plus o Understanding of commercially sensitive information, including how, when, and with whom to share it o Proficient at working across functions within the organization o Experience working in a multi-cultural/diverse organization o Willing to challenge the status quo
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
