Our Fairlawn, OH location is seeking a Mass Merchandiser Manager to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us? THE POSITION Mass Merchandising (MM) Account Manager position is a newly created position in the NA Region. We define the MM role as industrial MRO retailers that provide a one stop shop for all industrial end users. Items like:
Power Transmission (PTG), HYD (Hydraulic hose & fittings), INH (Industrial hose & fittings), AS (Air Springs) and non-Continental products such as:
pipe, motors, pulleys, and safety supplies. This role is responsible for leading the sales efforts (primarily in USA) to secure new business. Principle duties & responsibilities include the following areas:
o Purify or increase share of account at existing MM business partnerships. o Identify, cultivate, and win new MM business in PTG, INH, HYD and AS. o Serve as the industry and technical process expert for MM channel & CTM associates. o Promote and sell engineered products, programs & services to customers. o Conduct training on new products, programs, and applications when necessary. o Be proficient at all digital Marketing:
Product & PIM information. o Be proficient with providing & selling sales collateral, B2B information and advertising. o As a Key Account Manager, perform all selling aspects and lead Continental's efforts at your respective accounts. o Develop & present PowerPoint presentations. o Analysis - market players, potential, pricing analysis, market share, share of account. o Provide Quotes, product specification detail & selling, business performance, forecasting and other necessary business analytics. o Support CTM network across NA as required - joint sales calls, presentations, quotes, etc. o Support MM at end users as required. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience required OR minimum 10 years or more if no relevant bachelor's degree. o Prior experience in technical sales or related field. o Experience creating and/or using Ecommerce system o Strong negotiation skills. o Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Salesforce. o Excellent presentation skills. o Ability to create and present technical quotations. o Be proficient with Salesforce (CRM). o Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
