Waterjet Operator

Summary of Position:
This position performs all aspects of waterjet cutting and waterjet machine maintenance. This position is also responsible for operating and maintaining the Weldbot machine.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Work 2nd shift
Waterjet cutting
Material and parts handling
Machine maintenance & calibration
Train others in waterjet cutting
Weldbot operating
Light welding and fabricating duties
Facility maintenance and cleaning
Participates in Continuous Improvement Teams
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum 2 years' experience with a CNC waterjet, familiar with G and M codes
Strong mechanical aptitude
Comfortable with computers
Able to read and interpret drawings accurately
Ability to work with hands well
Able to operate an overhead crane & forklift
Basic welding skills
Common knowledge of basic and intermediate hand tools as well as metrology tools
Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to change project midway, flexible
Ability to follow detailed directions and complete a task with little to no supervision
Attention to detail and desire for quality

Other Requirements:
Regular attendance is required. The employee is required to physically be at the WARDJet facility during their scheduled work hours (Monday-Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm) unless approved otherwise by supervisor.
A valid driver's license
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able and willing to comply with all company safety rules and regulations
Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
Able and willing to work overtime with little to no forewarning
Salary starts at $12.60 per hour with excellent benefits.
.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
