Warehouse Coordinator

A. Schulman, a leading international supplier of high performance plastic compounds and resins, is seeking candidates for the position of Warehouse Coordinator.
This position is responsible for providing support for the processing of orders shipping from external warehouses, and to provide support for internal and external customer requests for warehousing services. Ensure orders are processed accurately and in compliance with ASI procedures and policies. Reconcile external warehouse inventories and process related transactions, including the auditing and approval of invoices for warehousing services. Provide training, support and feedback to the external warehouses. Provide input on how to improve the operations processes. Duties include: Coordinate order processing with all external warehouses. Provide documentation as needed, expedite orders and requests for special services, investigate and provides resolution for discrepancies or variances as needed. Provide support for order processing issues. Provide reporting as required. Manage warehouse receipts and order processing documents per ASI Record Retention Policy. Balance monthly recurring storage inventory. Coordinate packaging and related transactions. Manage Quality documentation. Maintain proper level of inventory for packaging supplies at each warehouse. Generate Canada Customs documents for all shipments from warehouses. Create and maintain warehouse metrics reporting. Manage Private fleet. File freight claims.
Requirements include:
H.S. diploma/GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.

years warehousing and/or Supply Chain experience preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of internal controls and objectives; internal audit standards and methodologies.
Strong PC skills.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities.
Ability to build working relationships across the organization at all levels.
Ability to travel to off-site locations as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
