A well-respected, leading manufacturer of electrical ceramic components is looking for an Entry-level Ceramic Engineer to perform sample preparation, testing and data analysis of new products at their facility near Akron, OH. Although an entry-level engineer is preferred, a Senior Technician with relevant experience will be considered. A Bachelors degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or similar from an accredited university is preferred. Entry-level candidates are preferred, however an Associates degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience will be considered. Candidates must have experience preparing ceramic test specimens from powdered raw materials and testing basic physical, chemical and electrical properties in a laboratory environment. The test data will support QC, so experience with statistics and data reporting is required. Travel is negligible. The company offers excellent benefits, including paid relocation from anywhere in the United States. Regional candidates are preferred. This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship, so US citizenship or a Green Card is required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
