A well established and growing original equipment manufacturer located in the Canton metro area is seeking a mechanical designer for their team.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of past experience generating structural fabrication and mechanical assembly drawings for heavy industrial equipment applications.
Hands-on experience utilizing Autodesk Inventor CAD software is required.
Additional requirements include:
Demonstrated experience with sound machine design practices Knowledge of fabrication processes and experience with design for manufacturing Ability to efficiently generate layout, assembly, and detail drawings Proven ability to work in conjunction with design engineers, other members of design team, and fabrication shop personnel Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
