Experiencing a sustained growth in business, an Akron original equipment manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Designer for their team.
The main focus of this role will be the refinement of established designs for performance and cost reduction.
Position requirements include:
5 to 10 years of experience with heavy industrial equipment design Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design Hands-on experience using SolidWorks design tool Ability to travel internationally on occasion
Pluses for this position include an undergraduate degree (BSME), experience in the tire industry, and/or working knowledge of electrical control systems
