00am Monday- Friday Empowering People is looking for early risers for our open morning shifts Monday -Friday, We are looking for someone who is compassionate and caring to work with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
This position is responsible to hep individuals get up in the morning , complete their morning routine and get ready to leave for their day program.

Direct Support Professional Job Description Direct support professionals (DSPs) are people who work directly with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their homes and in their community, The DSP is responsible to provide direct services including, but not limited to:
assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation and completion of various household tasks; supervising, teaching, and assisting the individual in every aspect of their life, with the goals of fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment.
A DSP may provide transportation and supports to a Individual at home, work, school, church, and other community places.
A DSP is also an advocate, helping people in communicating needs, self-expression, and goals as well as assuring justice and equality in community life.
Direct Support Professional Specific Job Duties Respect individual rights and confidentiality.
Be a role model, promote teamwork and help to make a positive work and living environment.
Read, know, and implement Individual's Service Plan, documenting as required.
Remain alert to individuals' behavior/physical changes and notify immediate supervisor.
Report all pertinent medical information to nurses and follow nurses' directions.
Assist with daily living needs, including but not limited to:
nutrition, meals, hygiene, and housekeeping.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
