Northeast Ohio Parent, brought to you by Babcox Media, is a new monthly publication for parents in the Greater Cleveland/Akron region, is searching for a qualified Sales Consultant; full or part time.
The qualified sales candidate will be a self-starter, responsible for new business development; servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders and establishing new accounts by planning and managing his/her daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales prospects. Media and/or Advertising sales experience is highly preferred.
Requirements:
Preferably, 3
years of proven sales experience; Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, communications, marketing preferred, but not required; Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining sales quotas; Self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge; Ability to confidently handle cold calling and account management; Excellent customer service skills; Excellent listening skills; Must possess experience with meeting sales goals; Must possess excellent prospecting, sales and closing skills; Excellent presentation and organizational skills; Ability to work independently as well as a team member; Enthusiastic attitude; Must possess excellent written and communication skills; Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures; High level of integrity and work ethic; Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
