Responsible for graphic interpretation, instruction and illustration of corporate Visual Merchandising direction/training documentation to the field via: components, promotion books, VSS case set-up guidelines, Corporate memos and other publications.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
- Responsible for researching, developing, writing and designing layouts for Visual Merchandising training manuals (Visual Selling System and promotion books) and other Visual Merchandising publications.
- Prepares Visual Merchandising support materials for meetings.
- Contributes to departmental daily operations and special projects.
- Develops and presents materials for corporate training programs.
- Creates support materials for departmental contribution to training presentations, including Manager's Leadership Conference.
- Creates miscellaneous corporate memos to communicate to the field.
- Maintains organized records of documentation and updates departmental store attribute database (s) as appropriate.
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Fashion Merchandising or related degree.
- 1-2 years experience in related role; retail experience preferred (corporate or store).
- Working Knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) - advanced knowledge preferred.
- Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced knowledge preferred (Excel and/or Access).
- Superior oral and written communications skills.
- Strong project management skills to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of desktop publishing practices, page layout/design, and informational organization/hierarchy.
This is a temporary position that may possibly become permanent.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
