FirstMerit Bank is looking for experienced Auditors to join our growing team!
As an Auditor you will audit a wide range of small and moderate sized departments within FirstMerit, reviewing and evaluating compliance with policies and procedures, reviewing and evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, preparing work papers to adequately document audit work performed and support conclusions and performs duties which are intellectual and varied in character. Interfaces with a wide range of staff and management personnel. On occasion, supervises auditors while performing audit engagements and special projects.
We require, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (Business Administration, Finance)

years of experience leading risk based Internal Audits
Must be willing to obtain professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA)
Familiar with International Professional Practices Framework of the IIA
Demonstrates a high standard of ethical conduct
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
