Our journeyman CNC machinists set up, operate, and maintain CNC machine shop equipment to manufacture precision parts. Candidates for this position will have a strong foundation with NC code, CNC programs, and basic knowledge of CAM programs. In addition to CNC experience, an ideal candidate will have an advanced mechanical shop background with experience troubleshooting issues, inspecting finished parts, and cleaning and maintaining machinery to safety levels.
Qualifications required:
-5-7 machine shop experience, including at least two years of CNC experience
-Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
-Experience working with small precision parts to very close tolerances
-NC program experience and understandingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
