An established company in the Akron metropolitan area is in need of talented MIG welders for their production department. This person will be responsible for the detailed and careful MIG welding of steel and aluminum parts in a fast paced and efficient manufacturing environment. The welder will need to value quality and be able to inspect the weld to ensure its integrity and placement.
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment. We want welders who take pride in their work and want to weld a quality product as a part of a great team.
Requirements
- Have a great attention to detail and a desire and ability to produce quality parts
- Have experience with welding steel, preferably the ability to weld aluminum as well but will train the right person
- Be punctual and have a desire to work and succeed
- Solid understanding of ergonomics, basic equipment maintenance and good OSHA workplace safety practice!
